Reciprocal bearing calculation.
Quickly finding the reciprocal of your course or a bearing can be useful.
If you struggle with the maths, there is a simple short cut. Instead of adding 180 degrees to a bearing try adding 200 then subtract 20.
E.g.
Bearing | 127 |
Add 200 | 327 |
Subtract 20 | 307 |
Bearing | 323 |
Subtract 200 | 123 |
Add 20 | 143 |
Most people can handle adding and subtracting 2 much easier that 180!
